Anybody know where I can find an elastic thing that slips over the standard stock to hold 12ga shells?

Don't really want to get a side saddle.  How do those mount anyways?  I see nothing at all on my 870, and there's no way in hell I'm drilling the receiver.

The only thing I can think of is the trigger assembly pins, but what supports the top of the saddle?

The shell holding butt cuff is widely available.  Some online companies that probably carry it included Natzhez, Midway USA and Brownells.

Side saddle shell holders for the Remington 870 come with replacement trigger pins.  The replacement pins are longer and, depanding on the brand, have some type of tightening system.  The pins run through the receiver and through the sidesaddle shell holder.  In my opinon, the Mesa Tactical side saddle shell holders are head and shoulders above those sold by other companies.
