Hi all,

I picked up a Mossy 500 the other day, but am having some problems with loading it. The capacity is supposed to be seven, but I can only get four 2 3/4" 12g shells in the magazine tube. I can get the 5th one in only half-way. Does anyone know what might be the problem? I have owned several other pump shotguns, but I've never ran into this problem.

Thanks

Did you remove the wooden rod out of the mag tube?

I wasn't aware of such a thing. This is the first brand new pump-action I've owned. I'll  check for it.

EDIT: I found the rod.

Thanks, man.
