I found a Spas 12 in a local gun store (used) in about 95% condition.  Due you think $999.00 is to much to pay for it?  (Has folding stock w/hook and extended mag tube, and manual)  Will these things be collectibles?

What kind of safety?  Push button or the recalled lever safety?  Lever takes about $150 off the price if it hasn't been considered...

They've been priced around $1000 for as many years as I can remember. It's highly doubtful that it'll increase much in price.

As for buying it, I guess it depends on what you want. I've owned two of them, and sold them. They were big and bulky to say the least. You could probably look around and find a Benelli M4 for that kind of money.

Like mentioned above, make sure it has a push-button safety, as the lever-type safety was recalled due to accidental discharges.

Good luck finding a Benelli M4 for $1k.  Give it a year and you'll be lucky to find one for $2k.
