| Trigger will not drop the pin. I believe this gun was made by Noble for S&W. Any ideas , or anyone have an info on repair tips? The trigger guard is plastic and cheap looking. |

If you have a Model 916, this is BAD news. The 916 was a major disaster for S&W, and at one point they actually considered buying all the guns back to regain their damaged reputation. When S&W dropped the thing, Gun Parts Corporation bought all the parts: www.e-gunparts.com Without being able to actually examine the gun, there's no way to tell what the problem is. Basically, you look for the reason why the trigger and sear assembly isn't releasing the hammer. This is assuming the hammer or it's spring isn't defective, and the safety is allowing the trigger to move back. Bottom line: Sorry, you got one of the few dogs S&W ever sold, and the worst pump shotgun ever made in America. |
