| Thinking about treating myself to another shotgun, i already have the 870 "Security" model and i'm thinking about getting another shotgun cause ive made some extra $. Was wondering what the general opinion on the Benelli Nova Pump Tactical or Nova Pump H20 is? |
| I just bought a Benelli Nova 18". I picked it over my buddy's tears for the 870, that was cheaper. the 870 was $285, plus tax, the Benelli was $295 and $60 for a +2 mag extension. It is a sweet shooter and I like to be different! There are almost no accessories available, but it is a great gun! |

Hmm so i went in today and took a look around and the nova tactical was over 500$ which seemd really high from what ive seen on Benelli's site, however the day was not a loss. As i talked with the guy there it turns out he had a different benelli in stock as well.. I ended up purchasing a nice m1 super 90, and from what ive been told i dont think i can go wrong with it! |

I have owned two Benelli NOVAs. One I bought for my Dad for Father's Day (which he traded for a tricked out Ruger 10/22) and a camo 24" that I won at a 4-H Raffle/dinner. I sold it NIB to help pay for a HK USP Tac. I think the Benelli Nova is a great pump shotgun. It shoots 3 1/2 shells like the Super Black Eagle. but it only costs $300. The SBE is a 1,000 or more. I am more of a semi auto Benelli Fan....currently have 5 Benelli auto loaders, but if you a looking for a great hunting pump shotgun the Benelli Nova is the way to go. If you are looking for a pump shotgun to hang a bunch of tactical stuff on then a Remington 870 is the way to go. |
