I pattern tested my old beat up police trade in 870 today. Its a Remington 870 Express with a bead sight 18” Cylinder bore Brl. All patterns are at 25 Yards. The raw data: Hornady TAP Blue 2 ¾” 00 8 Pellet Buckshot 15 ¾” Federal Tactical 2 ¾” LE 133 00 8 Pellet Buckshot 11 ½” 15 ¼” 9 ½” 13” Federal Tactical 2 ¾” H 132 00 9 Pellet Buckshot 14” Federal Tactical 2 ¾” LE 132 000 8 Pellet Buckshot 18” Federal Classic 2 ¾” F 127 00 9 Pellet Buckshot 18” Clearly, Fed LE 133 00 will be my carry load in this scattergun.
