I have a J.P. Clabrough Of London side by side that has obviously been refinished but nicely done. The barrels are probly somwhere in the 80% range.I would not hesitate to fire the gun.My question is it's value?I want to sell it but dont know where to start.Irecieved this gun and 63 others from my dads estate. Some were appraised right where I know they should be because I'm familar with them.Current production ect.I can't even locate this gun in what books I have.It was appraised at $1000.00 If any one can shed some light on this I would be greatful and able to sell. Thanks Steve
It says laminated steel on the barrel after the name

Barrels look like they may be damascus. I would not fire it. Its probally has a short chamber also.

Laminate steel is another name for damascus, they can be fired if you know what you are doing.I've read a couple of article about it over the years but ARMALITE-FAN is right don't load it up and shoot it.. I did a google and collectorsfirearms.com has one listed.
