| I have a Super Black Eagle. The question I have is on the cartridge drop. If I have rounds in the mag and haave the action open and press the cartridge drop shouldn't it kick around into the chamber. If the gun is cocked with empty chamber and I hit the cartridge drop it just kicks one out of the mag. I am just confuse. The directions don't make much since especialy the way they are worded. Also with the action locked open I tried to put a shell in the chamber and I couldn't the thing that kicks a new shell in the chamber is in the way. Thanks for any help |

Sounds like someone is used to shotguns with mag cut off switches, and lifter that move up when the bolt is charging forward. Since your shotgun is neither a Browning, nor a Remington, my suggestion would be to get used to how the shotgun functions, and change your loading style accordingly, hence having to load threw the magazine. |
| No it shouldnt If its like my M-1 , I had the exact same feeling , and it still isnt 'intuative' . The problem when your sitting at trying to figure it out is you HAVE to pull the trigger for the next rd to jump back on the carrier . I finally loaded her up w/ dummy loads and when you go ahead and pull the trigger on a chambered Dummy you realize whats going on . Then you'll love it , and the hammer must be back to load . There are some interesting 'conditions' you can keep the gun in are with a little manipulation to get 8 rds in it . I just load the chamber thru the ejection port let the bolt go and fill the tube (6 rds) . They are beutiful how it works and mine will shoot cheap birdshot to slugs interchanged in the mag. , if you want . Its monster with slugs from Prone but it is one awsome gun . The only issue I've had is im left handed and dont like 'cross bolt' safties but I always use it cause the thing still keeps me on my toes . R L |
