Per M4Ms request finally got a few pics of my shotgun.  Got it back in October, FINALLY got to shoot it last week at a friends house.  Not many pics the camera died.

My short range tool kit.

Nice work catching it in the air.

And my AR.  Christmas finally saw an ARMS40 and aimpoint M2 with LaRue mount.  Great gear.

I hate to burst your bubble, but a mag extension on a pistol grip semi-auto imported shotgun is illegal due to the importation ban of '89.  See the tacked thread at the top of this page with the BATF letter in it.

Well, first of all, he bought it from a local dealer in that configuration, and may not have the original "fake" tube. Though I doubt that is a reasonable excuse.

Second, there are pictures floating all over the internet of unconcerned guys with mag extensions AND working telestocks on theirs.

Third, some say that you can add the mag extension and it is still importable, but no working telestock.

Fourth, the BATF letter that I posted is confusing, so until I hear different, mine will remain in the factory configuration.

Viper, thanks for coming through with the photos. Well have to get 'em side by side at the next shoot.

Wondered how long before someone pointed that out.  It came that way.  Thats all I know, and I'm not sweating at night about it.  M4M is correct as usual.  Thanks guys.  I use my Kimber TLE usually but I carry a glock36, so thats why its there.

This is a very confusing issue. I do not know the answer. We are all big boys and girls here and want to do the right thing. We all believe in the rule of law. Everyone should consult competent legal authority before modifying their guns or posting pictures of modified guns. AR15.com bears no legal responsibility for people modifying their guns or posting pictures of modified guns.

The code of conduct for the site includes the following:

Respect your fellow gun owners by not doing the following.

3.) Posting or linking to information on how to make illegal modifications to firearms or purchase illegal items.

Thanks, MIKE.

Well Mod, I'll pull em if you want.  I bought it that way.  Either way, thanks for the complements guys.  Got a bit taken on it, but not to bad, and the trade in made up the difference easily.  I'm very pleased.  Need some tritium inserts.  M4M on the case shot, you can see that light mount you asked about.  Its on the wrong side.  (left)  For some reason the sling mount is on the right, where it does no good.  Gotta get it flipped around.

No, I am not asking you to pull your pictures. Just a word to the wise. MIKE.

M4M,  That occured to me as well.  And I think likely the case.  When I strip it down, I'll flip it around.  I love how all the insides are chrome lined.

Mike  Understood.  I'm not trying to be a jerk.  Your attention to detail as it relates to your job is admirable and apppreciated.
