Yeah, that was a pretty sweet deal, alright - you'd have to be a fool to let that slip through your fingers(provided you had the $$$)... I bought a nice old, low mileage 1100 last summer for $225, shipped - and thought I did OK with that one - they're nice shotguns.... From the pic, your's don't look too rough, either - good score, bud.....

I ordered trituim front sights,  a speedfeed stock, and magazine extensions for them today.  Anyone have a speedfeed stock?  How do you like it?  I figured I would order one and see how I like it.  If it fits well I'll buy another.

Today I drilled out the gas ports and then test fired them.  Both are working flawlessly with cheap wal-mart 8 shot loads.  The stock and magazine extension will be in tomorrow.  Cant wait!

I went ahead and cut down the barrel thats on the wood stock gun to 18.5".  You wouldnt think that 1" would make a difference but it just seems to handle allot better.   Now both barrels are the same length.

Just a heads up.  I posted the one with wood stock in the equipment exchange.  $300 plus shipping.

Have you checked the reliabilty since you cut them? Might be an issue????

BTW: The blacked out one looks killer. I'd have never thought they'd make a good looking HD gun.

Yup, they are 100% reliable.  After cutting the barrels back I drill out the gas ports.

Here is a picture of my Laser Devices mount holding a Surefire 6P.  When you hold the shotgun it is very easy to push the flashlights pressure switch with your thumb.  I'll get a laser devices flashlight eventually though.  Not that Surefire doesnt recommend putting the 6P on a shotgun.
