S40, I was just going to post a topic about this...You can now get a larger version for the 11-87P see the 870P MAX flyer at this post and look at the box on the bottom right side of the page. they are now making the 1100 Competition master version (bigger and better) standard on the 1187P. I use this on an 1187 set up for 3-gun competition. www.brownells.com/aspx/NS/store/ProductDetail.aspx?p=5796&title=REMINGTON+1100%2f11-87+EASYLOADER It works very well, enabling fast and fumble-free loading, but it does hang off the bottom a bit and so may not be appropriate for your application (e.g. tactical use). Its pretty straight-forward to install with simple hand tools. |

I used the DWM "Easy Loader" on my last tactical shotgun. It releases the carrier immediately, and makes reloading the shotgun very fast. I recently sold my tactical shotgun and replaced it with the new Remington 1100 Competition Master. This gun was designed for competition, but has everything you would want in a tactical shotgun, including a newly redesigned carrier release. You might want to check with Remington to see if the new part can be retro-fitted to the older models. |
