Sinistral, how did you attach the light and pistol grip to that forend?  Does it have a rail on it?  Are there any made for Winchester 1300's?

If you can't tell, I'm looking to put a light on my 1300

It's the surefire M69 tri rail fore end.  The Mossberg model is the M70.  Not sure if they make one for the winchester.

Tried to google the Surefire M69/M70 Tri-Rail and checked out Surefire's sight, but I can't find any results that work.  You know where I can find one on the net, or how I can find out if there is one for the 1300?

N/M, found it in the EE.

Me likes it alot.  :)  Remind to to go borrow my aunts camera.  :D

Here's the shotgun I just picked up today and added a bunch of goodies to. Remington 870 "Security" Magnum Express with the SST-870 stock adapter, Surefire M69 rail, ATN Ultra Sight Digital sight and TacStar side saddle. Not too shabby for my first shotgun.

Was pondering getting a Benelli until I saw the SST-870 adapter. Decided I should go with the 870 as my first shotgun. Nice job on the SST-870. Fits real nice on the gun.

Thanks for the sight in recommendation. I'll have to remember that when I take it out to the range.

FTX = Field Training Exercise...for us that basically means about 4 or 6 of us put on all our gear and go on a hike through the desert.

My Benelli, M1 super 90.  Shes about 10 years old now.  Got her new in Austin, TX in 1993 or so.  Rifle sights, no ghost rings, no red dots.  Large bolt release button.  Put a 1 1/4oz slug in a 3" circle at 50 yards with ease.  Pro-ported long ago, notice the carbon.  She only likes full power loads to generate enough recoil.  The Bianchi cheek pad makes it more comfortable.  Load:  7 rounds in the mag, 1 on the lifter, 1 in the chamber, 6 in the side, 5+ in the other side.  If I need more than 20, get the AR.  --TJ

Hey TREETOP - the middle shotty in your pic - does the stock fold up OK with the sidesaddle? I have a factory folder I'm going to use on a future project, and have heard the two are incompatible.

I was also told it was incompatible, and when I first mocked it up that seemed to be the case. What I did is I got bolts 1/4" longer that the ones included with the sidesaddle, and used some 1/4" nylon spacers between the sidesaddle and the receiver. This effectively created a channel for the stock arm to fold into when in the up position, between the sidesaddle and the receiver.
Worked out great, and it's solid.

Here it is folded:

My website isn't up yet...the person I was having do the layout flaked out on me, and I haven't had much time to work on it.

The SST-870 is produced under license by Cavalry Arms and is sold through their network of dealers and distributors.
