According to the BATF web site there were 679,813 shotguns made in the USA in 2001.

1) Remington - 276,116  2) Mossberg - 168,733

3) H&R - 140,758  4) Winchester - 46,361

5) Mavrick - 31,256  6) Ruger - 7740

7) Ithaca - 2729

These seven accounted for 673,697 out of 679,813 leaving 6,120 for several other companies.

An incredible amount of shotguns without imports. MIKE.

I own about a half-dozen Remington shotguns and haven't had mechanical problems with any of them.

Bud, what kind of warranty failures are you talking about?

I think those numbers are pretty damn impressive.

Yeah Bud Whiskey Tango Foxtrot over?

I have 3 Remington shotguns, and between a few of my friends and I we have atleast a dozen. I have never had a single issue, except for failure to feed... Due to a lack of ammo.
