| I didn't have much time to shoot yeaterday, but.....the FNP shot VERY well. I was using CCI/Speer ammo at 25 yards and getting 2' from an isocoles stance. VERY happy. I like it better than my USP 45 ormy Glock 21 SF. Another thing I noticed is that the FNP doesn't have as much flip as either the USP or the G21SF. I would recommend it without reservation. |

I too was flabbergasted when my FNP shot just a hair under my USP the first time I shot it. I quickly grant 15rds > 12rds of the USP. Once this !@#$%^&* cold weather gets out of here, I intend to get back to the range with mine.

| It was about 15 degrees out when I went to the range. I was using the last of a batch of CCI Blazer a buddy of mine gave me a while back. I was also breakiing ina a 4566 TSW at the same time. I know there are many USP fans out there (including me) but I truly prefer the FNP at this point. |

I too must comment on how well my FNP45 shot the first time at the range. I'm not a great shot, but this pistol made it look like I knew what I was doing.
It ate 50 rounds of AE Ball, and about 15 rounds of blazer aluminum that I had sitting around. Recoil was VERY managable as well. Going this weekend to test out some defensive ammo for it to see how it does. I was told by an FN rep not to go with the HSTs, but that the Remington and Hydra-Shok (cringe) do just fine. Got some 185gr Golden Sabres, some 185gr. Gold Dots, and some 230gr Fiocchi XTP to try. We'll see how she does! |
| I shot 200 rounds or so out of my brand new FNP-45 USG FDE model this morning with no problems. I was using Federal AE 230gr. ball ammo and rotating all three mags with full capacity loadings. I'm very pleased with the pistol so far. Good accuracy, function, and ergonomics. The pistol doesn't seem as big to me as it seems to a lot of people. I have ordered some Corbon 185gr. +P DPX rounds and will run some through for a reliability check. |
| I shot 50 more rounds of 230gr Federal AE ball, 50 rounds of Tula 230gr steel cased ball and then 16 rounds of Corbon 185 gr. +P DPX at the range tonight without any problems. I feel confident in the Corbon DPX as my defensive load; its hollowpoint seems to feed fine. I hope the 100% performance of my pistol continues. So far, I am very happy with my decision to get the FNP-45. |

I agree 100% , I paid less for my fnp than I did for my 1911, and it shoots much better , and holds almost double the ammo :) Quoted: Quoted: Quoted: Weeeeellllll....shot another 200 rounds today....I LOVE THIS THING!!!! I keep saying the FNP is the best kept secret in the gun world these days. I agree completely. |
