Considering buying the FNP-9 as my first handgun. Shot it at the range and I really like it. Seems they only make 10 and 16 round magazines, being in NJ I would be stuck getting the 10.
So my question is are the FNP-9 and FNP-9M mags compatible? The 9M has 15 round mags. And is there possibly a way to alter the 16 round mags to 15 to make them legal in my state? |

I asked this same question about compatibility a while back http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=5&f=53&t=79523
the answer is 'yes' the 'full-size' mags are compatible with the compact. As for modifying- I am sure it is possible, but would be concerned about how/if NJ would recognize that. I have the FN9m (very slightly smaller then regular FN9) and love it, I encourage you to pick up either one. |

Ill hit up some local shops after my FID and pistol permit comes through to see how it feels. |
