I'm looking to trade a case of M855 for a FNP-9 and some cash. What's it worth? 100 rounds fired, three mags factory case etc...

Thanks!

I would say about $500. I probably overpaid and got mine new for $560. Supposedly they can be had new for close to $500, but I haven't seen any that low in a while. That's also a very low round count, so it's basically new. It is used, though, so maybe you could get it for $450-$475 trade value. Just my $.02 and perhaps someone else will chime in with more knowledge on the subject. I do think that your M855, especially in today's ammo market, gives you a nice bargaining position.

I bought mine NEW with SS slide, and factory trijicon night sights... 599...

They ALL come from the factory with 3 mags, so that's a non-issue...

In the last 2 months, I have seen all black fnp9's for 480 NEW...

I wouldn't pay more than 450 for a used fnp9, that's just me though.

It is a GREAT pistol, the ejector claw is HUGE, it's accurate, and the ergonomics are great (for me).

In 3k or so rds, I have had 1 stovepipe. I blame it on the blazer brass ammo...

I looked at two today, one with stainless steel slide and one all black. The were both marked $550. Felt very good in the hand but I'm not too crazy about the 10-round mags. It is on my list of guns to get.

I was going to suggest that the FNP-9 could be purchased for less than $500 from TheGunsource.com, but they are 531.99 + shipping ($20?). They must have just raised their FNP prices, I purchased the FNP-357 two tone for $495 with shipping and now the same gun is $515 + Shipping. The handgun market must be a little volatile or they noticed the price was cheap when I bought one and decided to raise it up.

I agree on the used gun price. I would value a used gun at least $50 less than what I could get it new––as long as it is in new condition. If they can be had for around $500, then $450 would be the maximum I would pay for used. I usually would not pay much more than $400 if possible for a used handgun made of polymer.

I guess the other question is what the M855 is worth? Right now, ammo seems to hold a high value, whereas the handgun is not as scarce. I would low ball him on the gun for around $425 and get some more cash from him. Also, check the fire control housing for a crack, then you have the added hassle of sending it back for repair.

$400 is what I paid for one in black w/250 through it.  That was right after the FN price hike.

I bought a like-new FNP9 with the older style case and three hicaps for $369+tax.

You may want to hold off on trading it for that ammo; prices are dropping on 5.56 in general, and you may be kicking yourself in a few months.

I've seen new ones retail for as low as $430...from the same seller who was listing FN SLPs for only $650 last year.

I paid $350 for a FNP 40 in 2007 from Ray Tanner sports Inc.

I was all set to buy an FNP-9 for $350 from Tanner also, but the local dealer I wanted to do the transfer offered to match the price, so he got the sale.

The days of new $350 FNP's are long gone.  Unless the FNX comes out and they decide to liquidate all the old FNP stock.  Hell, Wholesale is more than that now.  Standard new FNP prices should be hovering around $500.  The USG models I usually see going for around $599.

Should be 16, unless you live in a state that doesn't allow normal caps.

$700 at my local gun store for FNP-9.

What part of Cali are you in?

$700!!!!  That's over a 50% markup for a standard FNP.  I hope he sits on that until the day he dies.

Mans pretty old, could honestly be possible.

At least the CZs were still at $500, and the USPs at $730 or so.

Here hopes the better gun store starts to carry them.

My FNP-40 USG was a hair under $500 wholesale and my FFL ordered it the day before the price went up. There's a local shop asking $699 for a USG. I laughed at them and told them I'd consider it for $550, but $700 is insane.

Just bought one from Buds Gun Shop a couple days ago for $369. I had to buy one as soon as I saw it go on sale. However it looks like they put the price back up to almost $500 again now

Ray Tanner is apparently liquidating his FDE USG 9mm's

I think a lot of people are liquidating, I saw a sale the other week at TheGunSource.com for the same FDE guns.
