My 509 mag release works far easier when pressing from the right side, needs less travel. Anybody else notice this?

My mag release is pretty equal on either side as far as pressure required to drop the mag. The slide lock on the ejection port side is not near as good as a release as the left side of the gun. Your findings on that?

Mine takes deliberate action on both sides equally.

Im right handed with medium sized hands and this is the first pistol I've had where I didn't have to break my grip to get enough force to release the slide with my thumb when brand new. The ejection side slide release is about average on mine, nothing crazy to get it to release with my trigger finger.
