Here is my point, does the bottom plate stop the mag? I knew of a case where a person bought a high cap mag and the mag damaged the extractor or something like that.

I've read the over insertion issue only affects single stacks mags. I don't use a sleeve on any of mine, even the single stacks.

Try it, see if it goes too deep.
