This is my cousin's handgun. He received it today and said it ran 100 rounds of winchester fine but was getting several failure to go into battery / failure to ejects when using Monarch 185gr HP ammunition. I am sure he didn't clean or lubricate it prior to use. Is this pretty standard for FNs or is this out of the ordinary? Does it need any tyoe of lubrication (I only use Glocks so my handgun maintenance skills aren't very developed)? Thanks

I wouldnt agree with that statement, but the FNP/FNX 45's were designed around 230 gr RN ammo. As with all 45's, you need to shoot a variety of ammo to see what it likes. I own a G21 that didnt like Gold Dots. It is what it is. |
