I saw this today at a local gunshop. Looks super nice except for the mag safety & non hi-viz front sight. The plus is the bull bbl & old style hard rubber grips (which I love). The threaded bbl fits my suppressor, so there's another plus.
Wonder how hard it is to remove the mag safety? 
Thoughts?

Well, went & bought it tonight. 
Traded in my suppressor host Sig Mosquito in on the Camper Whisper. Apparently this is a limited run of this exact model design............. Trigger pull is WAY too heavy, IMO. The gunsmith popped off a grip & said the mag safety didn't really have any effect on the trigger pull. He said to just oil it & shoot it & it'll break in (eventually). So I guess I will. 
My suppressor fits right on with no issues or irritations. I'm sure it'll be just as reliable with subsonic ammo as my Mosquito was. I'm hoping to get to the range tomorrow & sandbag the gun @ 20 yards. |

I can't believe Browning won't make this thing a regular mfgr'd model as popular as it would seem to be? |

Got the gun to the range yesterday for a run thru. The sights were not too terribly off, just a bit low. The gun ran 100%, no issues with anything using cheap Federal bulk from Wally World.

Shooting at 15 yards off-hand, leaning on a bench. With better ammo, I expect/demand much, much better groups, IMO.

Try the Heggis (I think that's the right spelling) trigger mod. All you have to do is flip a spring over. Takes 5 mins and halfs the trigger pull. I did it on mine and it is awesome. I'll need to read up on how to do that as I've not seen it done before. |

The instructions were pretty straight forward in the link. One thing I have a concern about is getting down to the spring. Is it a simple matter of removing the slide?
My previous Buckmark had never, ever had the top strap off the whole time I owned the gun. I cleaned it w/o removing anything. As a result, there were no bugger marks on the screw heads & the gun shot amazingly accurate with cheap ammo. I'm hoping for wonderful things with this new Camper bbl. |

The standard Campers (non-URX/UDX) always have the rubber non-finger-groove grips and lack the slide "nubs". This is just a Camper variation. |
