Shop I work for has a Beretta 87 Cheetah .22 for $675 and a S&W 41 for $850. Beretta is new, Smith is gently used. Kicker is, I get a 20% discount so the Cheetah would run me $540 and the Model 41 would be $680. I already have a Browning Medallist with the case, weights and goodies so getting a 41 would be a little redundant but come on, it's a 41. The 87 feels amazingly good in hand and is just plain neat. It would make a bitching suppressor host |
| The 41 is a very nice gun, but is very picky about ammo (CCI Velocitors and stingers, and Remington yellowjackets work for me, but that's about it)...I rarely shoot mine because it's such a pain in the ass. This seems to be a common problem. I don't know anything about the Cheetah. |

This seems to be a common problem. I don't know anything about the Cheetah. A lot of folks have changed springs to get their 41's working with a broader range of ammo. As for the original post, the Cheetah and the 41 are radically different guns made for completely different purposes. Since you already have a Medalist you should get both but sell the 41 to me for $700 |
