I took a revolver in trade for some used appliances. It is an older 3" Pathfinder with rubber stocks. It doesn't appear to have been shot much at all. It came with a 1/2 box of .22lr, so I doubt it has shot any magnum ammunition.

Are you sure it is a .22 Magnum? You need different cylinders to shoot both .22LR and .22 Magnum.

It came with a box of .22lr. Kinda like you buying a Colt Python and it coming with a box of 30-06.
