| Just got my aviator can yesterday and shot a bunch of 10 round groups today at 25 feet. The best I did today was 4 1/4" group using Remington Thunderbolt 40 grain. Then a few 4 1/2" groups using Federal 36 grain. What kind of groups are you guys getting? |
| For a P22 that's pretty good, at least compared to what I'm able to do. But may I suggest you stay away from Thunderbolts? They are the dirtiest ammo I've ever run across, and they'll lead your barrel in no time. Remington Golden Bullets are a lot cleaner, still bulk priced, and cycle most P22s fine. |
Yeah, the thunderbolts are dirty. I had some laying around I just wanted to try out. My main shooting is done with federal bulk pack, which seems to be pretty clean. |
| I have tried to shoot groups with my P22 however it is just not a very accurate weapon. It is somewhat decent with CCI Mini Mags though, but the bulk ammo shoots fairly large groups. Your groups sound about right. But i didn't really buy this gun to be a tack driver so it is good for plinking. |
