I ordered an Advantage Arms slide. It says on their website it could take 6-8 weeks to ship. I was fine with that, but I just read that someone had to wait almost a year. Is this true? If so is there anywhere that I could order and get it sooner?

ETA: It is going on a G21 frame.

no expierence w/ ordering direct, but i do know that they do have a long wait time....
