I love shooting my little P22.  I thought it would be nice to have a red dot on it.  I have looked at the bridge mount.  It looks plastic, and I don't if it is any good.  Ncstar makes one that is aluminum...a kinda universal bridge mount.  Has anyone had any luck with either of these mounts??

You'll find that your P22's accessory rail (which is what the bridge mount attaches to) will flex and bend with finger pressure. It does not make a stable mounting platform.

So, even if you got the best solid metal mount out there, it still wouldn't hold zero because the plastic frame of the P22 is simply not stiff enough to support one. It's fine if you're mounting a flashlight there, but that's about it.

I considered filling it with epoxy or bedding compound to stiffen it up enough to support a bridge mount, but passed on the idea.

I have the plastic mount made for the P-22.  It has been well used and I haven't had any issues with it.  It’s a blast to use plinking and small game hunting.  That being said...  it is NOT a target setup, it DOES move around, and will only be as accurate as plastic to plastic can be.  I'm glad I bought it but don't expect miracles.
