Well, I let enthusiasm get the best of me last night and took apart the bolt on my Ruger mkII while I was cleaning things.  I'm sure this is no big deal but I've never done that before, so I was a bit surprised when two little springs (one coil, one flat) fell out with the firing pin.

So...

How does this go back together?

Thanks.

If you don't get a good answer by the time I get home this afternoon, I'll take one apart and snap a couple of pics for you. (I would fail miserably if I tried to put it in to words)

I think you're confusing the flat spring with what Ruger calls the "rebound spring support". the coil spring slides on the narrow (not the bent end) end. Then the spring and support lay in the groove on top of the bolt that the firing pin rides in with the spring towards the rear and the bent end down into a little notch down in the groove. Then you replace the firing pin (with the flat side up) and get the pin slid back in to hold everything in place.

  Hope this helps

OK, thanks guys.  That verbage may get it done for me, if I don't get in a rush.  But the pics would be appreciated!
