I posted this in the Colt section, but apparently not many go there. Got this at a recent gun show LNIB for $350.

I bought it thinking I was going to make a killing selling it. Boy was I  wrong! It's worth about $75 more than I paid for it, so I'm gonna keep it and shoot it. Nice Huntsman you got by the way. I am wondering if it is possible to add a Woodsman slide stop to these guns?

PO8, you will make a killing with the pistol.  Just go out hunting with it!  My goodness that sure is one pretty pistol.  Gotta say I like it better than the huntsman.  But that's my personal taste.  I think you did very well for the price.

There is one catch.  You could ( I think ) use a woodsman side plate and I think the screw is in the same place...BUT you would have to know the exact location for the slide stop stud and plunge mill that hole in so that the side plate hole for the stud of the bolt lock would slide in correctly.  YOu would also need the coorect side plate screw for the woodsman model.

I am THINKING of trying this with my huntsman.

THINKING.  I am probably gonna hunt down a Woodsman for comparison.

SWEEEET!!!!

If you can take the left grip off and then line them up one beneath the other...that'll be awesome!!!

Ok, it looks like all that needs to be done is drill one hole and find the correct parts. You would need a side plate, slide stop and spring and a stepped bolt.
ETA: I just noticed that the bolt is not notched on the Targetsman so that would need to be cut as well.

Nice looking pistols. I've got 1st and 3rd gen. Woodsmans and they both shoot great.

Nice pics!

And indeed, you need a sideplate, proper sideplate screw, the bolt stop, bolt stop spring and some patience.

Good call on the stop notch.

This may be a project worth undertaking on my beater that I have been working on.
