Does anybody know what's going on with them? I ordered a kit from them back in March. I knew they were running about 8 weeks behind but that was over 4 months ago. |

It may depend on which model you are trying to get that determines how long the wait is. I ordered a target model conversion for my G19, and was told it was on backorder until July (this was back in May), but I received it in less than 3 weeks. FYI: Mine had several malfunctions during its' first trip to the range, mainly due to my forgetting to clean & lube the thing beforehand. When I got home, I cleaned & lubed it, and polished the ejector*, figuring that any reduction of friction couldn't hurt. Next time at the range & ever since, it has run 100% with my preferred ammo, which is CCI Mini-mags, both solid & HP. The only thing I didn't like about it is the front sight. It has a white dot rear sight, but the front has a sort of brownish/beige dot; I suppose this is to resemble a brass bead, but the damned dot disappears completely in nearly any lighting. After todays' session, I finally got tired of it, and cut the front sight into a patridge shape* & painted it white. *Ok, so I was bored, and what does a bored gun owner do? Reach for the dremel, naturally. I sometimes think that without us graduates of the WECSOG, dremel would go out of business. EDIT:I dunno if it matters, but I ordered mine from MidwayUSA.com |
