Does anyone have a Tac Sol Barrel for a Ruger MK III.  I have purchased a Prodigy suppressor and looking for a platform other than a Walther P22.  I love the Mk II, but currently do not own one.  Is the barrel made from aluminum or is it a steel insert in alumnuim.  How accurate are they compared to a standard ruger barrel and most importantly how reliable, especially over the long haul?  Any info on these would be appreciated.

My dealer just got one like on the back cover of their phamplet.

The barrel is alumnimum with the steel liner. FYI.  dont know about accuracry except in Mays Combat Handguns, there a short article on one that was canned, but no accuracry info.  the author just tricked out his Mk II.

there is a 3 shot string pattern w/can at 10 yards tho.  also with CTC grips.

They are very nice barrels, light and accurate.  Did I say ACCURATE.

You won't have any trouble with accuracy, short or long term.

The durability of the finish is up to you however. (it is aluminum after all) The dipped camo looks a little tougher to me, but I don't have any real long term field use to comment on.
