I have an older buckmark made in 87 the pistol it self is flawless but just recently all three magazines have feed issues.  Mags run fed bulk pack no problem It does it only with cci SV. With the mag out it seems like The front of the bullets are dragging on the front of the mag body  I will try later with another box is it possible I have a lot of out of spec bullets and they are just to long to feed properly.  If i load only 8 rounds use The thumb loading button thingy sliding it down and letting it snap back up it doesn't snap back up it slowly drags back up. It's Pissing me off cause I just got my Supressor

make one of the mags your CCI sv ammo magazine....  dremel polish the problem area on the mag?   POLISH...not grind away.  but it sounds like you're saying the ammo is the problem... shoot it in other guns and don't fuck the Buck up.  :)

The mag spring not snapping back has happened to be before.  Try cleaning out the interior of your magazine tube.  Hold the mag button down and use a cleaning pattch that is damp with solvent and run it up and down a few times.  If necessary use a dry patch to get any excess solvent.  Then use a lighly oiled patch or spray lube anf dry patch to get any excess lube.

The magazine can be disassemble for cleaning but this is a faster and easier way.

For me, after the first shot, it seemed the drag in the magazine didn't allow the follower to push up the next round for the bolt to adequately strip the top round.

Hope this helps.     .

I second the mag cleaning .
If the round at the top of the mag doesn't snap up pretty darn quick it won't be in the correct position to feed..

I don't use any oil in my mags as it seems to cause dirt to gum things up in the future . That goes double for blow back rim fire guns.

When I am lazy (most of the time) I blast the crud out of the mag with some spray silicone. The spray has a propellant that cuts the dirt pretty good and the silicone after dry is pretty slick without being wet or gummy.

Some brands of ammo, due to bullet shape or whatever don't feed well in certain guns , no real way to perdict other than trying different brands
but a clean gun and clean mags are a good place to start. The Ruger Mark I and IIs I have actually are a bit fussy when the gun is absolutely clean but will smooth out and be nearly 100% after a couple or 3 mags
