| I just purchased a MP22 today. This is my first non-hammer pistol. It does not have a decocking lever. What is the best way to decock this weapon without dry firing it? |

This is true of ANY striker-fired handgun. Think about it: if you can't touch a hammer, how can you let it down? Obviously a striker gun doesn't have a hammer, but I hope you get my point.
I also urge you to minimize dry firing any rimfire. Nothing wrong with leaving it cocked for extended periods of time, it won't hurt it. My .o2 |
