I guess Browning now has the 1911 in 22LR It's 85% the size of the 1911 Browning 22 |
| I have handled one of these that our Browning rep brought into the store. To compare it to one of the Umarex pistols is like comparing a Glock to a HI Point. Maybe not the best analogy but the best I could come up with right now. It is 100% US made, the fit and finish on the one I handled was superb, and I cannot wait to own one. It just feels solid, and really cool. We ordered a bunch of them and I will own one out of the first batch and report back here. |

It is good to be in a gunstore. As I said; "has it beat in terms of real-deal 1911 parts compatability due to true-scale size. And of course price." Love to have that sweet baby Browning 1911/22, but for the 6-bones, I can find a "Colt 1911/22" and another GSG 1911/22 to keep my GSG 1911/22 company. Or a low-end .45 1911. Let us know about the aftermarket for that Browning. |

I wouldn't mind a scaled down version of the 1911 in .22lr... Could be a fun shooter. |
