I have three, a S&W 22A, Browning Buckmark and a Ruger MK III. The S&W has a cheap Barska tube red dot, I like it, but it is hard to shoot with both eyes. The Browning has a Primary Arms red dot (actually green) that I like a lot, but haven't had long enough to recommend. The Ruger has a Burris Fastfire II. the burris has the best fit & finish and round dot, but the Primary Arms is 1/3 the cost. I still want a C-More, but until funds are better. I did see that CDNN has a Trijicon for less than $200, including mount and shipping, hhmmmm?!?

| I have been using a Primary Arms micro red dot (T1 clone) on my Buckmark with excellent results. It is a .22 afterall. I don't think the T1 will offer any significant benefit over the PA optic given the primary use of the .22 - plinking and target shooting. I don't take my .22 underwater or use it for tactical operations. YMMV depending on what you use your .22 for. |
