[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Ceiner Barrel Threading Recommendation

Hey Everyone,

I am looking to thread my M1911 .22 Ceiner Conversion kit to host a Gem-Tech Outback II Suppressor.

From what I can determine, I have three options:

Hi Desert Dog

Tornado Technologies

GemTech

All state that they can do it, and costs range from $104-$150. HDD is the lest expensive, and GT is the most.

I was wondering if anyone had any personal experience with any of the vendors listed above, and a recommendation of which one they would choose.

Might try Cylinder & Slide for a quote as well.

For work done, I think I wouldn't use the highest nor the cheapest quotes but go with the middle one. Call it the Goldilocks theory..................
