| I bought my Ruger MK II around 1980~81. Being quite a bit younger (and dumber) I took off the heel mag release (and promply lost the parts) and installed a side mag release. It never has worked all that well and stopped me from changing to more comfortable grips. Now, I want to return to the heel mag release, get into some comfy grips, and be move on. I have spent the last 3 hours looking for a good breakdown with part numbers that I need to order from Ruger. The Ruger site is a little vague and their answer was to call them. I know I need a spring, the release and a pin to hold it all together. I just cannot seem to narrow down the part numbers. Can anyone point me in the right direction? |
