I'm looking at getting a new barrel for my Spartan. The previous owner "polished" the feedramp in such a way as to necessitate installing a ramped barrel.



My question is this. I'm planning to put a suppressor on it, and was curious if a bull barrel would provide more support for it than a conventional bushing arrangement.

I have a TRP Operator with a Jarvis threaded bull-barrel . I've seen a couple of threads mentioning failures , especially in stainless-steel barrels , like mine . I have an SWR HEMS2 , and the whole package is heavy , but very accurate and quiet ... The standard barrels appear to be problem-free ...
