I dont like the look of my trigger. How hard is it to swap it out for a different one?
I can build AR's all day long just never did any 1911 work beside swapping grips.

How bad can I mess it up?

Thanks

Not hard. Fitting a trigger is the easiest mod you can do with a 1911 IMO. If you can detail strip it down, its as easy as filing a few spots here and there, putting in, and throwing it back together.

Now, if you want a really good trigger job, that's another story all together that requires a bit more know-how.

Everything worth having requires a little more work than something middle of the road.

Women, cars and guns.

You don't know how much trouble they can be until you start changing parts out without knowing how each part interacts. Trigger is the heart of the gun. Some triggers drop right in and others need work. You can change it out yourself with some home work. Having a trigger stirrup is a big plus for your project. You can easily spend the price of your 1911 again on 1911 tools. They aren't plug and play like an AR.
