No idea if it is. I'm just asking if anyone knows anything about them. I don't know anything about 1911s from the Philippines either

It is made in the Philippines by S.A.M. (Shooters Arms Manufacturing) is the maker of 1911 style pistols.

Many importers have imported them ove the last few years, now ATI of Rochester, NY is doing so.

This particular version is new to the market, so I would ask people who have owned a S.A.M. over on:
