I was wondering if any of you guys who own a Springfield use the holster that comes in the case? I cant afford a holster just yet but I am looking to see how decent of a holster that thing was for temp use.

The one that came with your new GI Officer? If its like the one that comes with the XDs and is the one you need to loop your belt through it will flop all over the place. If its the paddle type, IMO its as good as any Fobus for OWB carry.

My MilSpec came with the belt loop style that I didn't care for, but being a lefty, I called and they sent me a paddle holster free of charge.
As Nakanokalronin said, it's a nice holster. Have one for my XD9SC, also. I wear it all the time, 'cause the XD is easier to conceal OWB.

It's not as sexy as some other holsters, but you can wear it with confidence.

Yeah it is the Paddle type, I think I will use it till i get my Supertuck.
