Looking at one of their Full Size FUSION SCOUT Frame Kits in 10mm, haven't seen much about these, how the quality?

i have always read wonderful reviews.  However, there is a current thread here about an unhappy customer and he has evidence to back up his acquisations.  I really think this is just a lapse of judgment by fusion because everything else i have read has been stellar.  You should have absolutely no issues and if you did they will make it right

I built up a 1911 on a Fusion frame, slide and barrel. I suspect Fusion’s frames and slides are made by STI. Fusion barrels are made by Storm Lake, at least Storm Lake has them listed as a manufacture that uses their barrels from Storm Lake’s website. I am happy with my build and the quality of the parts received from Fusion. I talked to Bob on the phone when making my purchase and have nothing but good things to say about him and Fusion.
If you are building a 1911 I think you would be wise to read up on the subject. Most of the parts will need to be fitted. I did not get a kit and my slide and frame had to be fitted together but that is how I wanted it. I know Fusion will fit parts as requested but again the small parts will require fitting in most cases. This just the way it is when building a 1911. I truly enjoyed building and putting a finish on mine. You should also know that if you are building a basic 1911 your really do not save any money it is only if you build a custom 1911 that you see the savings. How well your 1911 compares to a $3,000 pistol when you are done depends on how well you put it together.

See the thread here regarding Fusion and the link therein.  Also, suggest you spend some time in their forum at 1911forum.com.  Lots of info for you to make an educated decision.

My 10mm longslide needs to go back again for unreliability issues.
Side by side, same mags, same ammo and my Kimber smokes it.

if you read the end of the thread, the OP let us know the problems were from a year ago.  Fusion has since adjusted its policies and such
