I have a Springfield 1911 Mil-Spec model that I bought about 15 years ago. My neighbor has the same pistol. The only difference is my frame has all the springfield information and "F1 Brazil " stamped on it. His only has the springfield info, no brazil stamp. On the slides our springfield logos are in different places. He told me that mine was made by Taurus . What can you guys tell me?
