Does any one else have an issue with their 1911 mag rattling after a couple of months?
Background: purchased a springfield 1911, came with one mag, was rattling around, so I bought two triple k mags. About 2 months later the new mag started to rattle abit. It doesn't sound like the spring coming loose, it sounds like one round is moving around. Now I have two rattling mags, soon to be a third. It does it after about 2 months of ccw carry in my 1911. Full mags, empty chamber, hammer un cocked. Any ideas? Shitty mags? Springs, BTW its 230 ball grain ammo. Fobus paddle holster, and dual mag pouch. They function and feed fine. No jams, no ftf, nada. Just rattling. |

Input on decent mags? Wilson combat? Kimber? its been about 3 years since i bought any decent mags, but the last ones i got for my 1911s were "Shooting Stars". i dont remember who made them, but they have been working fine for me. im sure there are others, but your KKK mags are the bottom of the barrel. I will only "look" at KKK mags IF (and only if) no one else makes an aftermarket. |

what makes them so great? I bought a wilson combat and the only thing I notice is the ease of loading.
My 1911 still fed improperly. Although after ~1k rounds, its now starting to smooth out and no hiccups Diggs, go to Scottsdale Gun Club. Lots of mags to choose from |

If you have a 1911 that is loose and will take any mag, then you won't really notice. Just wait until you get one that has tight tolerences and very finicky, the difference is astounding. |
