Decided on one of these over a Kimber Warrior, now I can't find one. Any leads would be helpful.

I'd contact SportingArms.com. They've been able to find everything that I have brought to them.

Kinda pricey. It's also been worked on with at least the rear sight and hammer being changed.

Only one on Gunbroker I could find.  I kind of link the sights to be honest and the hammer I think they were going for the MEUSOC setup.

A big +1 for Sporting Arms, great people to work with.  They're also in Texas which would help getting the pistol to you faster.  I called them randomly inquiring about an SA Professional and it showed up at my FFL in two business days.  The whole process was very painless (other than the pain my wallet took )

My chance to show off my MC Operator

Hey Hunter what is that wrapped around the front strap of the frame? Is that skateboard tape? My Springfield Professional was too sharp in the front and it made me bleed in less than 100 rounds.

I would like to second the request for reasonably-priced leads.  I have one on order through my local dealer, and he seems to think his distributor should have one in about 2-3 weeks, but Springfield customer service disagrees, quoting a 6-12 month lead time.  Jeeeeeeeeeeeebus.  I understand for a custom model like the Professional, but that is a LONG TIME for a production gun... I sure hope my dealer and his distributor know something I don't, and if not, I could always use some help finding one!

Yeah its grip tape, I got mine from the local hardware store, it was marketed for outside steps/ladders and such. I think it was a dollar per foot. I really like it and its a very cheap way for a better grip.

I bought mine used for 1k even last June/July.  The one on gunbroker is a little pricey and you don't know who did the work (hammer, sights, etc.) on it.  If you want one bad enough though...Anyway, it took me at least a month before I found my MC.  One ended up poping up on the EE here.

Obligatory pics:

For anyone else that's looking, watch the EE.

They pop up in the EE for $900 all the time, $850 is even common.

Congrats to finding one!
