Got myself a Springfield Mil-Spec. Added a flat checkered mainspring housing, an 18# recoil spring, a longer trigger and some VZ Operators. I think she's pretty hot.

I was two seconds away from picking up one of these on Wednesday. I opted for the Colt series 70 instead. I really want to add another Springfield to my collection, but I am going to wait until I get my tax return and buy a TRP.
I just can't satisfy my appetite for 1911's. In the past three months I have picked up three new 1911's. I am up to 5 now with the addition of my Colt, and the craving is still not tamed. I just want to keep buying more. Should I see a Dr.......I have a 1911 tapeworm. Sweet Mil-Spec bro. |
