I am looking at an older Wilson Combat Series 70 custom.  Does anyone have any experience with these older customs back when they worked on different models?  How smooth/reliable/accurate are they?

Is this a a Colt 1911 that has been done over by Wilson or a Wilson 1911 with a safety system similar to the S70 Colt ?

Hmmm...well given the choice between this gun at $1150 and...say a used DW Valor...I'd get a the Valor...but I don't like bi-tone guns.

It's not a bad price, I'd try to get it for $1100 shipped.

Without proof of the smith who worked on it, it is nothing more than a used colt.
