i just got a smoking deal on a Dan Wesson Pointman (just over 200 dollars in it.) It is used but unfired and in excellent mechanical and physical condition. Ive looked around on the internet and found a little information on it but cant seem to find much else. It is marked with PMA-S on the left side of the slide. It is serrated on the front of the slide and back. It has is stainless with very nice DARK wood grips and a DW logo in a clear plastic piece in the center of the grip. The sites are adjustable and very nice looking.
Any info ie price new, what exactly the Aussie model had the others didnt, how rare etc would be appreciated. thanks fellas Mike pics to come |

no external extractor...i was told that it was made pre-CZ ownership....if you look on Dan Wessons site, it looks just like every other pointman on the site. but pics to come lol mike I think pre-CZ DWs are nice, and that is from an owner of both pre and post CZ. I have a Pointman Patriot (with external extractor), and it's great. A lot of folks hate the external extractor, but it's never given me issues. So did you say you PAID $200, or it has $200 worth of work in it? If not, what did you pay? I'd say 600-800 for that gun may be fair, depending on the finish. |
| i paid a total of 500 for the gun....it came with Crimson trace Grips that I was also looking at buying separately for my Kimber TLE/RL II. So after taking the Crimson trace grips off which were 300 brand new I had 200 in the gun. The finish is new. and everything is perfect on the gun. It was used but unfired. Used because it was bought by the gunshop that i got it from, from another gunshop that was going out of business. |
