Kimber's Tactical Entry is a good pistol.  I like the pistol over all just hate the grips that come on it.  For a tactical I would expect a G10 type grip or something that is more durable and grippy.  For the price I would rather have a SA TRP or Dan Wesson Valor(if available) honestly though but the pistol should be good to go.

ok as a comparison  how does the SA TRP and the Kimber Tactical Entry compare other than crappy grips

Very close pistols but if you get the TRP with the rail you get adjustable night sights, beavertail grip safety with the memory tab, but pretty much everything else is very close, SA does not have a swartz safety it is setup it is like a series 70, also G10 grips standard on TRP(you already knew that).

Kimber has checkering on the underside of the trigger guard.

Very close but I would still have the TRP or Valor over the Tac-Entry and I like Kimber own one to just the TRP is a better pistol IMO.  That is my .02

will do whenever i make my mind up. im also considering a LW Operator cheaper than a trp by afew hundred bucks. what r the main differences between them other than adjustable sights and a magwell and the grips of course and frame/weight. i know it sound like alot anything else lol
