| One of the local gunshops has a Charles Daly 1911 for sale and 4 magazines for only $360. I was wondering if anyone knew anything about these at all? I have never really heard of one and that's a really cheap price. Anyone have any experience with these at all? Thanks! |

They used to get their 1911 from ARMSCOR. They recently contracted with an Israeli company to make the 1911. |

It seems Magnum Research will be marketing whatever the G4 was supposed to be. |
| Ehhhh kind of below the para or taurus line. You want a cheap 1911 get a RIA or Citadel. I handled a Citadel this weekend I almost bought it but could not get a reasonable price out of the guy. The fit on the RIA and Citadels was pretty good each has a few cosmetic flaws the erk me but nothing I could not fix myself. |

Off shore piece of shit. Could not disagree more. I've got a full-size and a compact. Both have fired thousands of rounds. The compact (like many compacts) is sensetive to limp-wristing. But the full-size has ate everything it's ever been fed and done so accurately. I've customized the compact to somewhat resemble a Kimber CDP, and am in the process of doing something similar to the full-size one. I've owned other 1911's (Springfield and Taurus) and the Daly pistols are as good. |
