Photo of frame without the hand guards.  
Ensuring the hammer is cocked, wiggle the safety out of the frame

This is a web site takedown instructions. I would assume not an ambi safety
 


here are my pics of my 1911 with a ambi safety. How am I going to wiggle the safety out of the left side with the right side still attached



  What am I missing here. I broke the firing pin safety push rod so I have to break it down to replace

The Kimber ambi safety is held together by a slotted pin that engages the right side of the safety. The pics in this post below should help while I look for a better picture of the safety itself.

  I think Ive got it. Wiggle the left side out then rotate the right past the pin and out

You have to wiggle the right side loose first, then swivel it upwards to clear the retaining pin. If you have a plastic mallet a (cover the safety with a piece of electrical tape) good smack to the left side safety will often loosen the right side and make removing it easier.
