My buddy picked up an old, blued 4" Champion for $600.  It is cool because it has a GI feedramp set up and a bushing-barrel.  I haven't seen another like it.  Any of you guys know what it's worth?  The crest on the side is just below the ejection port, in front of the slide serrations and says 1974 in it.  Does that mean it was made in '74?

I don't have any answers for you, but I'd love to see a picture of it...

I used to have one of those.  Sold it about 10 years ago, and it was probably close to 10 years old at the time.  Does it have the slotted recoil spring plug?  I can't imagine it being worth more than about $500 or so.

I've got one in Stainless steel that is about 99%. It's my Bar-B-Q gun.

Yep, it is not captive by the bushing.  You have any idea why not?  The recoil system is standard: GI length rod, one regular spring.

I had one I bought new in 94. Traded it off just last year for a shotgun. Nothing special and the recoil spring plug is subject to break off. Only place to find replacement is SA. Fed fine once I did away with the Devil style mag followers. I now have a newer Loaded LW Champion that is a much nicer gun for only 100 more than what I traded it for.
